I am a dually qualified lawyer (Italy and United Kingdom) now working as Head of Trading and Capital Markets for EMEA at Squarepoint Capital LLC, a systematic hedge fund based in London.
Prior to Squarepoint I worked as a lawyer in Allen & Overy LLP's international capital markets department. I specialized in derivatives and structured finance advising on derivatives, repo, stock lending and structured finance matters working between the London and New York office. Allen & Overy consistently ranks top tier globally for derivatives.
Upon graduating summa cum laude from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in 2011, I completed a M.Sc. in Law and Finance at the University of Oxford, Jesus College, studying under the supervision of Prof. John Armour and Prof. Paul Davies, QC. In 2012, I was awarded the "Freshfields' Prize" as Italy's best law graduate of the year and was featured in the national press (Il Sole 24 Ore).
On a more personal note, I own a blog on the Huffington Post which focuses on Italian politics and economics. I am business proficient in Italian, English and Spanish and conversational in French.
